10 Black Commandments - Keys to Power

What do you think Black people need to improve their condition in this country? I’m genuinely asking you a sincere question and want to hear your response.

Listen, I've been Black for a hot minute now and let me tell you, it's a wild ride.  it’s a dope and dangerous experience. It’s dope because we are worldwide trendsetters. Very few things get a green light for public consumption without the approval of the Melanated Ones. History has shown us that whether in fashion, music, or commerce, whatever we do, we revolutionize it and other ethnic groups imitate us.

It’s dangerous for a multitude of reasons; one being we haven’t learned to harness our influence to benefit our people as a group. If we aren’t using it to benefit ourselves then someone is using it to their advantage and by default to our detriment. It’s mainly dangerous because we do not see ourselves as one people yet. We privately and publicly mistreat each other, which makes it easier for other groups to mistreat us. We are fighting battles within and without. However, we can make the experience better. For things to change, Black people must unite.

To truly overcome the challenges we face, we must first conquer the enemy within. One of the main things I’ve noticed among Blacks in America and Europe is that we lack a set of shared values and goals that guide our actions and behaviors. We must overcome individualism, cultural mistrust, and a broken value system. With this in mind, we have created the 10 Black Commandments as a set of guidelines that, if followed by the Black community as a whole, will make us unstoppable.

These values can help us to strengthen ourselves, our families, and our community as a whole. They can also serve to honor God and our ancestors while paving the way to better days for future generations.

The 10 Black Commandments - Keys to Power for the Black Community
1. You shall honor the Most High God who dwells within you. This makes you Royalty.
2. You shall honor your brother and sister with love and forgiveness as God has done for you. For we are one people living together in a foreign land where we must be allies not enemies, opposition, or competition.
Black People Are Royalty. We are God's People
3. Aim every single individual act to help strengthen yourself, your family, and your community to advance the Black Community as a whole. Get therapy if necessary.
4. You are a living descendant of great ancestors and a living ancestor of future descendants. Your soul’s existence is connected to both. Therefore, you shall do your best to follow their revolutionary example to live a life that leaves a legacy for others to follow.
5. Practice group economics. You shall find ways to purchase any and all items of luxury or necessity from Black-Owned Businesses.
Unity is good for the culture. Black Community is rising together in Unity. Black lives matter
6.You shall do no harm to another Black person by word or deed. GOD DWELLS within them too. As a Black Man, help your Black Brother and protect the Black Woman. As a Black Woman, help your Black Sister and support the Black Man. As Black adults, protect, educate, and provide for the children.
7. You shall not support any business, entertainment, music, or enterprise that exploits, demeans, and or perpetuate destructive behaviors (and ideologies) among Black people.
8. Do not discriminate against your brother or sister based on colorism, sexism, classism, or religious affiliation. The system doesn't care if they’re light skin, dark skin, Christian, Muslim, male, or female, and neither should you.
Know Black Power Know Black Unity. Without unity, there could be know power
9. You shall be thy brother's/sister's keeper. Help and not judge. Act to solve each other’s problems as your own. If they refuse the help, let them be but check on them from a distance. No one is left out of the community.4
10. Remember who you are! You were made in God's image. God lives in you. You have a Divine nature. You are royalty. You are powerful. You are no longer a victim. You are no longer a victimizer. You are more than a conqueror. You are free to be great!
We are God's People. Black people are God's people.

Conclusion

We believe practicing these commandments will help us to overcome the obstacles we face in the world. They serve as a reminder of the values we should hold dear, and the actions we should take to empower ourselves and our community. By following these commandments, we can honor the legacy of our ancestors and create a better life for ourselves, our families, and future generations.

Remember, we are God's People and together our unity pleases the Creator. It takes all of us to help each of us. Let's continue to strive for love & power so greatness will blossom in our community.
